Know what your suppliers are actually charging you

CostCreep reads your invoices and turns every line into a price per pound. When that price moves, you hear about it.

The case price didn't change. The case did.

Here's the shape of it. Pulled pork, 4/10 lb case, $164. That's forty pounds at $4.10. Next month, same line item, same description, same $164 — but the case ships as 4/8 lb. Thirty-two pounds. You're now paying $5.13 a pound and nothing on the invoice says so.

Worked example: the same case price at a smaller pack size raises the price per pound
Last monthThis month
Pack4/10 lb4/8 lb
Case price$164.00$164.00
Per pound$4.10$5.13

At 200 lb a month that's $2,460 a year out of one line. Multiply it across every line on every invoice and food cost drifts upward without a single line ever looking wrong.

What you actually see

Send an invoice. CostCreep pulls every line and works out the price per pound, gallon, or each. It then matches that line to the same product on your past invoices. And it keeps watching.

CostCreep dashboard comparing July 2026 to June 2026. Sliced mushrooms jumped 227.1% to $33.85 a case, unsalted butter is up 20.9% to $5.95 a pound, romaine lettuce up 5.9% to $56.90 a case, and Atlantic salmon is down 15.3% to $14.90 a pound but flagged unstable.
One month against the last, from the demo account. Two price jumps, four items creeping, two unstable — $137 a month of increases nobody approved. The +/− column shows what each change costs you at your current volume.
Price history chart for romaine lettuce, climbing steadily from about $42 a case on March 1 to $56.90 by July 10, 2026.
Every invoice becomes a point on a line. Creep is obvious here and invisible on a single delivery.
